Hull College was represented at this year’s Hull Science Festival by Science tutors Jenny Smith and Viktoria Tsakyri and our talented student helpers.

Held at the University of Hull last weekend, the theme of the activity room was ‘Journey into Space’ and saw hundreds of families participate in a wide range of fun and enjoyable tasks.

This included making helicopters and galaxy pictures, expanding ‘Mars’mallows’, taking selfies with an alien and even experiencing a trip in a rocket! Also, congratulations to Mohamed, who was the winner of our ‘Count the Stars’ competition.

Thank you to our dedicated students Philippa, Nicholas, Lucy and Savvina for their hard work on the day, along with Sani, Max, Ellis and Emanuele who contributed to and helped with preparations for the festival.
