We’re excited that you’ve chosen Hull College and can’t wait to welcome you in person.

enrolment at Hull College

Enrolment is the final step in confirming your place with us. It’s also how we check and confirm your details, make sure you’re on the right course, and get everything sorted before you officially start with us in September.

Our enrolment process happens every year and is split into two parts: an online form and an in-person appointment at our Queen’s Gardens campus in the city centre.

Until both parts are completed, your place isn’t fully confirmed – so it’s really important to get everything done.

Everything you need to know about enrolling and getting ready to start your course in September can be found below.

Important Reminder

If you applied using your school email address, please contact our Admissions Team via admissions@hull-college.ac.uk or call 01482 329943 to update your details. This helps us make sure you receive all the important information about enrolment and starting college.

Enrolment Happens in Two Stages

Stage 1: Complete Your Online Enrolment Form

Before coming into college, you’ll need to complete our online enrolment form.

The form takes around 15-20 minutes to complete and allows you to provide the information we need to prepare your place on your course. You will need:

  • Your personal details
  • Information about your previous qualifications
  • Your exam results if you already have them
  • Your National Insurance number if you are aged 19 or over

If you’re still waiting for your GCSE results, don’t worry, you can provide these later.

If you need help completing the form, our team will be happy to support you.

If you change your mind about the course you’d like to study, please contact our Admissions Team as soon as possible so we can discuss your options. You can do this via email at admissions@hull-college.ac.uk or by calling 01482 329943.

Stage 2: Attend Your In-Person Enrolment Appointment

Once you’ve completed your online form, you’ll then be required to attend an enrolment appointment at our Queen’s Gardens campus between Tuesday 18th August 2026 and Friday 28th August 2026.

During your appointment you will:

  • Meet your course tutor
  • Confirm your place on your course
  • Receive your student ID card
  • Collect your timetable for your first week
  • Have the chance to ask any questions you may have before starting college

*Please note the 2026/27 academic year at the college begins on Monday 7th September 2026.

what should you bring?

If you are aged 16-18, please bring:

  • Your GCSE or A Level results
  • Any qualification certificates or results slips you have available

If you are aged 19 or over, you may also need:

  • Payment details or information about your student loan
  • Evidence of benefits or low income if applying for financial support

If you are not a UK national, or you have not lived in the UK for the last three years, you may also need to provide evidence of your residency status, such as a passport, visa or settled status documentation.
