Building Confidence and Independence
College is different from school, and students are encouraged to take increasing responsibility for their learning and personal development. However, independence does not mean facing challenges alone.
Support is available for students experiencing anxiety, low confidence, mental health concerns. or difficulties affecting their studies. This may include one-to-one support, practical advice, or referrals to specialist services where appropriate.
Students with additional learning needs or disabilities can also access tailored support, with reasonable adjustments put in place to help them succeed while developing the confidence and independence needed for life beyond college.
