“How can my young person access Financial support at the college?” Your young person can access finance support through our student services hub located in Chester’s reception, alternatively if your young person is applying for a bursary, they can find out more information here.
“How will my young person be supported if they have an EHCP or learning need?” We have a dedicated team of SEND support coordinators and Learning Support Assistants who can provide support to your young person where a need is identified. You can also email learnersupport@hull-college.ac.uk for more information or to speak to the team.
“How can my young person access wellbeing support” We have a dedicated safeguarding and counselling team who are able to provide support and signposting to external partners across Hull and East Yorkshire, they are located in the student Hub.
“Can my young person access Career’s guidance?” Your young person can access our Careers team located in the student hub or email matthew.thompson@hull-college.ac.uk
“What should I do if my young person is not able to attend college due to sickness?” Your young person can contact their tutor to let them know they will be absent
