Understanding the Costs of College
Many parents ask whether college is free and what additional costs they should expect. Although tuition is usually free for young people, some courses may require specialist clothing, equipment, or materials. Educational visits and certain activities may also involve additional costs.
We understand that these expenses can be worrying, which is why we encourage families to explore the financial support available as early as possible.
Applying for Support
Students can apply for financial assistance by completing the college’s financial support application process and providing any evidence requested.
Applying early helps ensure support is in place as quickly as possible and allows students to focus on settling into college life.
Support Throughout the Year
We know that circumstances can change. If your family experiences financial difficulties during the academic year, we encourage you to get in touch straight away. Additional support may be available depending on individual circumstances, and our teams will always do their best to help.
