introducing greenwave

Located at our city centre campus, Greenwave is a major part of our long-term ambition to establish Hull College as a world-class leader in green skills education and technical training.

Its specialist facilities and industry-standard equipment support learning across renewable energy, heat pumps, hydrogen technologies, electric vehicles, carbon capture, sustainable construction and advanced engineering.

Greenwave builds on Hull College’s extensive green skills provision, which includes more than 145 green skills-linked courses. It enables us to expand pathways from Entry Level through to Higher Education, giving learners of different ages and backgrounds opportunities to develop skills for a changing economy.

Developed with the support of industry partners from across the Humber, Greenwave has been designed around the skills employers need. It supports training linked to some of the region’s biggest areas of opportunity, including offshore wind, decarbonisation, retrofit, sustainable construction, advanced manufacturing and future energy technologies.
