We’re delighted to have been shortlisted in three categories at the 2026 CGIUKI Awards, celebrating the people and projects making a difference across our Hullraisers community.

Our nominations are in the following categories:

Diversity and Inclusion Project of the Year – Silent Voices, Vivid Stories
Governance Professional of the Year – Catherine Sykes MBE, Vice Principal Governance & Compliance
Champion for Governance – Rob Lawson OBE

Each nomination represents an important part of the work taking place across our college. Silent Voices, Vivid Stories is recognised for its focus on diversity and inclusion, while Catherine and Rob have been shortlisted in recognition of their respective contributions to governance.

We’re proud to see their work celebrated alongside that of colleagues who help make Hull College a supportive, inclusive, and well-governed place to learn and work.

A huge congratulations to Catherine, Rob, and everyone involved in Silent Voices, Vivid Stories. Reaching the finalist stage across three categories is a fantastic achievement, and we’re pleased to see their contributions recognised.

The winners will be announced at the CGIUKI Awards ceremony on Tuesday 3rd November at the Royal Lancaster in London.
