Hull College is gearing up to participate in the 2023/24 British Esports Student Championships, and we want YOU to be part of our Hullraisers team!

What's in Store?

The British Esports Student Championships are a thrilling showcase of talent, strategy, and teamwork, and we believe that Hull College has what it takes to go far in the competition.

We will be entering teams for some of the most exciting titles in the world of gaming. These are…

League of Legends
Rocket League
VALORANT
Overwatch 2
Apex Legends (Potentially)

When and Where?

All the action will take place on Wednesday evenings, making it the perfect mid-week adrenaline rush. Matches will take place between 4pm - 6pm, ensuring you have enough time to prepare and get in the zone.

What's more, all matches will be staged in our dedicated Esports Arena right here on campus, in AS128, at The Institute of Arts. It's the ideal battleground for honing your skills and competing against the best.

Get in the Game!

If you're ready to step into the world of Esports and represent Hull College, the first step is to declare your interest. The deadline for doing so is 5pm on Monday 18th September. Act fast to ensure you have a shot at being registered in time for the opening fixture.

To register your interest, simply email richard.holmes@hull-college.ac.uk with the following details:

Your Name and Student Number
Your Course
Your Age
Confirmation of which game(s) you would like to play

Important Note

While we are eager to accommodate as many enthusiastic gamers as possible, our Esports students will have priority team participation. Esports team captains will have the responsibility of finalising team compositions.

We will submit as many teams as possible. But please don't worry if you aren't selected initially; be prepared to step in if someone drops out. Team dynamics can change, and your chance to shine may come at any moment!

The only requirement to take part in the competition is the willingness to be part of a team and to work together to do your best to represent the college. All ages, gender and skill levels are welcome to be involved.
