5:27 pm

Hull College’s second Student CPD Week of the 2022/23 academic year will commence on Monday 27th February.

CPD means Continuous Professional Development and our dedicated weeks will provide you with the opportunity to engage in relevant and bespoke activities that are tailored to your career aspirations.

Our Student CPD Weeks are designed to support your personal and professional development, along with playing a part in ensuring you are ready for employment and the world of work once you have finished your studies with us.

The college has arranged a diverse programme of external partners and industry leaders to join us throughout the week to share their expertise and knowledge across the four key themes of Sustainability, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Leadership and Digital.

Keynote speakers from the following companies will be involved: KCOM, Siemens, Humberside Police, NHS, Bombyx PLM, Transparity and Hobson & Porter.

Full details of all scheduled events can be viewed in our Student CPD Week booklet. Click here to download.

Please note that your regular weekly timetable will continue as usual during Student CPD Week. However, your tutors, trainers and assessors will support you to access any sessions you wish to attend.

Also included as part of our Student CPD Week is our annual Careers Fest event. This will see more than 40 local and national employers, higher education providers and voluntary organisations available to talk to about your career options and aspirations.

No booking is necessary to attend this event, simply head across to the Horncastle Theatre between 10am-2pm on Tuesday 28th February to find out more about the wide range of exciting potential careers available to you by speaking to exhibitors.
