The college will be introducing a number of temporary campus closures during May and June to support the delivery of this year’s GCSE English and Maths examinations.

Creating the right environment for students completing these important assessments is essential, and these temporary closures will help ensure exam spaces remain calm, quiet, and fully focused throughout the examination period.

The campus will be closed to the majority of students on the following dates:

Thursday 14th May (Maths Paper1)
Thursday 21st May (English Paper 1)
Wednesday 3rd June (Maths Paper 2)
Friday 5th June (English Paper 2)

Who Should Attend?

Students should only attend college on the above dates if:

Your tutor has specifically told you to attend, or you are sitting a GCSE examination.

Remote Learning Arrangements

If you are not asked to attend by your tutor and are not sitting a GCSE exam, you should not come to college on the dates listed above.

Instead, you should continue your studies remotely by accessing and completing work set by your tutors through the college’s usual online learning platforms.

If you are unsure whether you need to attend college on these dates, please speak directly to your tutor.

Supporting Student Achievement

These arrangements form part of our continued commitment to creating the best possible learning environment for every student.

We would like to thank all students for their understanding and cooperation as we support those undertaking these important examinations.
