What better way to kick off the start of the Christmas period by putting on a good old fashioned British panto, which is exactly what our Level 1 & 2 Performing Arts and Level 3 Production Arts students did this week.

‘Holidays in Hullville’ - written by Hull-born actress, comedian and creative allrounder, Kerrie Marsh - was a fantastic story about Murdoch and Mackail's quest to save Hullville's holiday traditions that was filled with fun, villains - and bad jokes (in a good way)! The Riverside Theatre was filled with laughter and cheers throughout all four performances across Tuesday and Wednesday, which was fantastic to see!

We were delighted to welcome St Mary, Queen of Martyrs Primary School for one of the shows, whose staff provided The Institute of Arts with some lovely feedback: "Wow! We have just left the theatre and the Christmas spirit has appeared for our school. The children have really enjoyed the panto. Thank you so much for sharing your amazingly, talented students with us. What a credit to a fantastic team - well done Hull College."

Congratulations and well done to all of our students involved in the production, along with the numerous members of staff who helped out behind the scenes. Check out our selection of photos from the show below...
