Course Overview
This course is an ideal starting point if you’re interested in the construction industry and want to explore a career in plumbing. Clearly linked to industry standards, the course provides a strong foundation in the basic skills and knowledge required to work within building services engineering.
You’ll be introduced to core areas such as plumbing science, basic electrical installation, health and safety, environmental protection, sustainable technologies and an overview of building services engineering. Learning is practical and hands-on, helping you understand how plumbing systems operate within construction and domestic settings.
Alongside your technical training, you’ll develop your maths and English skills and work towards ane employability skills, this helps you build the behaviours, confidence and work-readiness needed to move into employment or further training.
