If you’re passionate about film, TV or digital content and want to turn that into a career, this course is for you. The HNC Film & Television Production gives you the opportunity to step into the world of media production and develop the creative and technical skills needed to succeed in today’s fast-paced screen industries.

Over one year, you’ll explore the full production process, from developing ideas and writing concepts, through to filming, editing and producing professional-quality content. You’ll learn how to operate cameras, work with lighting and sound, edit using industry-standard software, and create content across a range of formats including film, documentary, studio production and digital media.

This course is highly practical, meaning you’ll spend a lot of time creating, experimenting and collaborating with others. You’ll work on live briefs and real-world projects, helping you understand how the industry works and what employers expect. Whether you’re working in a TV studio, filming on location or editing your latest project, you’ll be building a portfolio that showcases your skills and creativity.
