The Level 2 Hairdressing course for adults is designed for those looking to start a new career or develop practical skills in the hair and beauty industry. You’ll develop a strong understanding of hair and scalp science, product knowledge, and industry-standard techniques, while gaining experience working with real clients. Entry Requirements:

Maths and English at 2(E) or above or ESOL L1 and pass a skills check

Progression & Next Steps

On completion of this course, you can progress onto the Level 3 Hairdressing programme to develop advanced techniques and further enhance your skills. Many learners also move into apprenticeships or employment within salons, building experience while continuing to learn.

The qualification also provides a strong foundation for self-employment, allowing you to begin offering services independently or build your own client base. With further training and experience, you can progress into senior stylist roles or specialist areas within the hairdressing industry.
