Creativity, innovation, and months of hard work were celebrated in style as our Fashion students unveiled their final collections at The Fashion Show 2026.
Held on Thursday 11th June, the annual showcase brought together friends, family, staff, and guests from across the creative community to celebrate the achievements of the next generation of designers. Featuring original collections, bold concepts, and contemporary styling, the catwalk provided students with the opportunity to present their work to a live audience and mark the culmination of their time with us.
For many of the students, the evening represented much more than a fashion show. It was a chance to celebrate two years of creativity, friendship, and personal growth.
Second year Level 3 student Faith Hewitt described the event as the perfect way to conclude her studies and time at the college.
“It was amazing,” she said. “Everything came together brilliantly. The venue looked fantastic, the lighting and displays looked beautiful, and the whole event felt really professional.
“Because it was our final showcase together, it felt really special. We had the opportunity to celebrate everything we’d worked on with our friends and say goodbye in the best possible way.
“We all received recognition for our work and had the chance to show people what we’d created and how we wanted it to be seen. It was the perfect send-off and a proud moment for all of us.”
Fellow student Emelie Foster said the opportunity to showcase her work publicly had been one of the highlights of her college experience.
“The show was amazing and being backstage with everyone was such a laugh. We’ve spent two years together, so it felt really special.
“One of the best moments was hearing people say how much they loved the designs. Having people appreciate your work like that is incredible.
“I feel so lucky to have had opportunities like this. It’s not something every student gets to experience, and it made the whole evening feel even more special.
“Because it’s my final year, it was about celebrating everything we’ve achieved together. Spending time with friends, laughing backstage, and saying goodbye to our tutors made it the perfect way to end such an important chapter.”
Among the highlights of the evening was the announcement of this year’s overall winner, Grace Adamson, whose outstanding collection impressed judges and guests alike.
Reflecting on her success, Grace said: “Winning the overall award was such an amazing moment and something I’m incredibly proud of. Seeing all our hard work come to life on the catwalk was already a fantastic experience, so to receive this recognition made the evening even more special.
“It’s given me a real confidence boost as I prepare to start university in September and has shown me that all the effort and dedication has been worthwhile. It’s an achievement I’ll always remember.”
Fashion tutor Jen Gregory praised the students for the creativity and professionalism they demonstrated throughout the event.
“The Fashion Show is always a highlight of the year, and I couldn’t be prouder of what our students achieved. The standard of work on display was exceptional and reflected the talent, commitment, and individuality of every student involved.
“From the initial concepts through to the finished collections, they have shown incredible creativity and resilience. Watching them present their work with such confidence in front of an audience was wonderful to see, and the whole evening was a fitting celebration of everything they have accomplished.”
The Fashion Show 2026 provided a memorable finale for our graduating students, celebrating not only their creative talents, but also the friendships, experiences, and confidence they have developed throughout their journey.
As they prepare for the next chapter, everyone at the college is incredibly proud of all they have achieved and wishes them every success for the future.
