Course Overview
This apprenticeship prepares you to become an Architectural Joiner, working primarily in a workshop environment to manufacture timber building components.
You’ll develop the technical skills to set out, mark up and produce high-quality products such as doors, windows, staircases and mouldings. Architectural Joiners play an essential role in the construction industry, supporting both new build and refurbishment projects. Working closely with designers, architects and site teams, you’ll ensure components are manufactured accurately and to specification. By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll be confident producing detailed joinery products using industry-standard tools and equipment.

Maths and English at 2(E) or above

Course Breakdown
Course Structure
You will spend one day per week at Hull College, developing your technical knowledge and practical joinery skills in specialist workshops.
The remaining four days per week will be spent with your employer, gaining hands-on experience manufacturing architectural components in a professional workshop environment.
Progression & Next Steps
On completion, you can progress into full-time employment with your current employer or secure further opportunities within the construction and joinery industry as an Architectural Joiner.
