THe Details

This Level 3 Plumbing programme is designed for you if you’ve already completed a Level 2 qualification and want to develop advanced skills in plumbing and heating techniques. The course focuses on preparing you for professional practice through applied, hands-on learning. You’ll develop skills in installing plumbing and heating systems within simulated working environments, allowing you to practise industry-standard techniques in a safe and realistic setting. You’ll also gain an understanding of the electrical circuits required to operate plumbing and heating systems effectively. A key part of the course is developing fault-finding skills, which are essential within the plumbing and heating industry. Alongside your technical training, you’ll also develop work-ready skills through the Employability Skills Passport, as well as continuing to improve your maths and English to support your career progression.

UCAS provides support for young people making post-18 choices, as well as mature learners, by providing information, advice, and guidance to inspire and facilitate educational progression to university, college, or a degree apprenticeship.

It is important to note that when you enrol on an Access to HE courseyou can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to help with the costs of a course at a college or training provider in England.

Loan eligibility does not depend on your income and there are no credit checks.

Check if you’re eligible before you apply for an Advanced Learner Loan.

Your loan will be written off if you then sign up for a Higher Education course AND you have completed in full the Access to HE course.
