Shape your creative future with our full-time Foundation Degree in Fine Art. This exciting two-year studio-based course gives you the space, support and confidence to explore who you are as an artist. You'll experiment with traditional and contemporary techniques, develop your ideas, and push creative boundaries in a constructive and inspiring environment where taking risks and challenging conventions is encouraged You’ll learn through hands-on workshops, studio practice, research, exhibitions and live briefs, as well as group critique and one-to-one tutor support. Visiting artists bring real-world perspectives, helping you understand how artists work professionally and within the wider creative industries From drawing and making to site-specific projects and exhibiting, the course builds your creative voice and technical skills. You’ll develop communication, digital literacy, problem-solving and professional practice along the way, preparing you for employment or self-employment in the creative sector, or progression to a Level 6 BA (Hons) top-up degree By the end of the course, you’ll be confident working independently and collaboratively, planning and realising ambitious projects, and presenting your work to different audiences. You’ll graduate as a reflective, adaptable and self-motivated practitioner ready to contribute to a vibrant and evolving creative community

Loan eligibility does not depend on your income and there are no credit checks.

Your loan will be written off if you then sign up for a Higher Education course AND you have completed in full the Access to HE course.
