National Apprenticeship Week 2024 is here and everyone at Hull College is proud to be involved!

National Apprenticeship Week runs from Monday 5th February - Sunday 11th February and this year’s theme is ‘Skills for Life’.

Apprenticeships are training programmes - available across a wide range of industries - designed for students of all ages (16+) who have left full time education and are in employment.

An apprenticeship is a paid job where the employee learns and gains valuable experiences. Alongside on-the-job training, apprentices spend at least 20% of their working hours completing classroom-based learning with a college, university or training provider which leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

National Apprenticeship Week 2024 will reflect on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career and help businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped with skills for the future.
