THe Details


The in-service PGCE is the teacher training course for those already working as a teacher, or with a suitable long term teaching placement. Examining all aspects of teaching, learning and assessment, including designing and delivering lessons, Hull College will support you as you complete the 100 hours classroom teaching built into your course.

Fees: £3750 per each year of the programme, FTE of £7500.

Upon completion of this teacher training qualification students may wish to progress to the Master’s in Education programme or pursue a career in any of the following areas: Further Education lecturer Higher Education lecturer SEN specialist teacher Independent sector teacher Pastoral lead Alternative education sector teacher Education Officer for charities and public bodies Industrial trainer Teaching abroad.

It is important to note that when you enrol on an Access to HE courseyou can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to help with the costs of a course at a college or training provider in England.

Loan eligibility does not depend on your income and there are no credit checks.

Check if you’re eligible before you apply for an Advanced Learner Loan.

Your loan will be written off if you then sign up for a Higher Education course AND you have completed in full the Access to HE course.
