National Apprenticeship Week 2026 is here and everyone at Hull College is once again proud to be involved!
National Apprenticeship Week runs from Monday 9th February - Sunday 15th February and is the 19th annual week-long celebration that brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
Apprenticeships are training programmes - available across a wide range of industries - designed for students of all ages (16+) who have left full time education and are in or wanting to be in employment.
An apprenticeship is a paid job where the employee learns and gains valuable experiences. Alongside on-the-job training, apprentices spend at least 20% of their working hours completing classroom-based learning with a college, university or training provider which leads to a nationally recognised qualification.
National Apprenticeship Week 2026 will reflect on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and also help businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped with the skills required for the future.
Our dedicated Apprenticeship team are on-hand to offer you the support you need to be a successful apprentice, provide the right career advice and guidance and match you with appropriate employers.
