5.10.22

5:22 pm

We can't wait to welcome you to our Discover Hull College Open Event on Thursday 6th October (5:30pm - 7:30pm).

Our event is packed with opportunities to get all the information you need to make the right choices about your next steps, whether you're a school leaver thinking about a Further Education course or an Apprenticeship or adult learner looking to get back into education or wanting more information on our degree-level courses.

We want you to get the most out of your experience with us, so have put together some useful hints and tips to help make sure your trip is as successful as possible.

Arrive Early…

Make sure you get here as early as you can to make the most of our event! Free parking is available at our Queen’s Gardens campus (HU1 3DG) and, once you’re here, all you have to do is head to the Horncastle Building (located opposite Napoleons Casino) to sign in.

Attend a Principal’s Talk…

Our Vice-Principal Curriculum, Lynette Leith will be at the event to give you a warm welcome and explain more about life at Hull College, our study programmes and how we can help you on your next steps. These will take place in HU1 Riverside restaurant (also located in the Horncastle Building) at 5:45pm, 6:15pm & 6:45pm.

Speak to our Tutors…

Talk to our industry-experienced and expert tutors to discover more about the courses you’re interested in studying with us. They will be on hand to offer any advice and guidance you need, as well as answer any questions you may have.

Say Hello to our Student Ambassadors…

Make sure you have a chat with our current crop of students (they’ll be wearing hoodies with ‘Student Ambassador’ on the back) who will be helping out at the event - there’s no better way to find out what it's like to study with us.

Find out how we Support our Students…

Our student support staff will be available to offer advice and support on funding, transport, careers advice, learning support and enrichment activities.

Get Help to Apply for Your Chosen Course…

Need help to apply? Don’t worry, our friendly admissions team will be on hand and ready to help you fill out and submit your application form if you find the perfect course for you.

Grab Something to Eat & Drink…

Don’t miss out on the chance to grab a free tea or coffee and sample the delicious food available at our free BBQ (it’s provided by our Catering tutors and comes highly recommended).
