Here's what a few of our dedicated and committed workforce said following the presentations...

“It’s been a good ten years for me! I started out in student support and was lucky enough to be put through teacher training during my time here. I’ve developed loads and I think it’s fair to say I probably owe the college quite a bit for how they’ve helped me progress in my career.

"Staff across all departments at the college go above and beyond to make sure the experience for the students is as good as possible, so it was nice to have the event on Wednesday and hear so many nice words from Lowell about the excellent staff we have here. It’s absolutely something that should happen every year.”
Adam Burns

“My 15 years at the college have been fantastic and I’ve had a few different job roles in that time. I started as a library assistant in 2006 and worked my way up to supervisor before moving to IT in 2016. I was also a student at the college when I was 16, so there’s a lot of pride in working here for me personally.

"It was nice to see so many members of staff get the recognition they deserve for their length of service and commitment to the college and its students, and I look forward to seeing other colleagues enjoying the same experience in the coming years.”
Rachel Clayton

“It’s hard to believe that I’ve been here for 20 years now - it’s gone really quick! It’s been a very pleasurable experience though. It’s great to be part of a wonderful team and have the opportunity to pass on your knowledge to the next generation. Hopefully, things are moving forward for the college now and it can enjoy a great future.”
