We offer a wide variety of study programmes to enhance your career prospects - ranging from level 1 to level 7 - in accounting, business and administration, human resources, leadership and management, digital analytics, computing, games Design, ICT, criminology and teacher training. We also offer apprenticeships for young people and adults employed as business administrators, supervisors, team leaders, assessors, coaches and teaching assistants which allow you to gain a recognised qualification whilst earning a wage.
If English isn't your first language, and you want to improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, our English for Speakers of Other Languages course will equip you with the necessary skills to further your employment and life in the UK.

Courses at The Institute of Skills for Living are delivered in a purpose-built resource centre which houses a first-class facility that allows learners to access a modern, safe, friendly, supportive and secure learning environment, along with adapted and specialist materials/equipment. Our smaller than average class sizes mean that SEND learners are able to access individual support and exceptional pastoral care immediately, away from the hustle and bustle of the college’s main Tower Block.
The focus of our study programmes - suitable for those who may have a range of mild learning difficulties and/or disabilities - is to embed independence and employability skills to enable our learners to secure positive and meaningful progression, be that into independent living or the workplace through vocational study within other specialist areas across the college.
