THe Details

The Uniformed Protective Services course aims to provide you with the skills, experience and knowledge that will enable you to develop a career in a uniformed service such as the fire service, police, prison service or armed forces. The Level 3 Uniformed Protective Study Programme allows you to study and apply for the public service of your choice, giving you a good grounding in the theory and practical skills that you need to know and the fitness and discipline that you are required to have.

You can take part in interactive uniformed protective service activities such as Crime Scene Investigation, Conflict Management, Emergency Planning and meet members from a range of services and take part in relevant workshops. The Programme also

helps you develop the skills that the Armed Services require - for example, leadership, teamworking, resilience and offers extra qualifications such as Dealing with Challenging Conversations and Award in Higher Studies (with additional 8 UCAS points).

This course can lead you directly into Higher Education in a relevant subject, for example Public Sector Management.
