We support employers to maximise their return on investment of the Apprenticeship Levy. With our dedicated Apprenticeship Recruitment team, HCUK Training can provide you and your organisation with the expertise and support to guide you effortlessly through this new system. We offer:
The opportunity to reclaim your levy costs is one not to be missed and, as long as you are offering recognised apprenticeship training, you can take advantage of the offer. It comes with the promise that you could get more out than you put in.
An e-voucher system will ensure that the funding process is not open to abuse, so you can be sure that the money you pay as a result of the levy will benefit organisations committed to apprenticeships.
You can receive a £1,000 employers incentive for hiring an apprentice if the apprentice is:
You will receive two payments of £500. To receive the full £1,000, the apprentice must remain employed by you and on their apprenticeship for at least one year.
The payment is different to apprenticeship levy funds, so you can spend it on anything to support your organisation’s costs. For example, on uniforms, your apprentice’s travel or their salary. You do not have to pay it back.
Employers do not need to take any action. The government use confirmation from the training provider that an apprentice is eligible and calculate payments.
Training providers must get consent from apprentices who have EHC plans or have been in the care of their local authority to share this information with the employer. Payment will not be calculated for employers if consent is not provided.
The first payment of £500 should be paid to the employer by the training provider after 90 days of the apprenticeship training start date.
The final payment of £500 should be paid to the employer by the training provider after 365 days of the apprenticeship training start date.
Training providers have 30 working days to make payment to employers.
