GCSE Resits Results Day: What You Need to Know

7.1.26

3:30 pm

GCSE Resits Results Day takes place this Thursday 8th January, and we know this can be an important and sometimes nerve-wracking moment for many of our students. Whether you’re hoping to move forward with your next steps or reviewing your progress, we’re here to support you.

Below is everything you need to know about accessing your results and what happens next.

Accessing Your Results

All GCSE resit results will be released at 9am on Thursday morning and will be available to view via ProPortal. You can log in as usual to check your grades once they are published.

If you experience any difficulty accessing ProPortal or your college account, please visit the IT Helpdesk for support or contact them by email: ithelpdesk@hull-college.ac.uk

What Happens After Results Day?

Students who have achieved a grade 4 or above will have automatically completed that subject. You will be removed from classes from Friday onwards, allowing you to focus fully on your next steps.

If you have any concerns about your grade, we encourage you to speak to your tutor during your next scheduled class, where your results can be reviewed and discussed.

We’re Proud of You

GCSE resits take determination, resilience, and commitment, and we recognise the hard work that goes into preparing for them. Whatever your outcome, please remember that support is always available, and your tutors are here to help guide you forward.

We wish all our students the very best of luck on Results Day - we’re incredibly proud of your hard work, effort, and commitment.
