GCSE Exam Resits: Important Information for Students

The countdown is on! GCSE English and Maths resits begin next week, so now’s the time to make those final preparations and head into your exams feeling calm, confident, and ready to show what you can do.

All exams will start promptly at 9am in the Sports Hall, so please arrive in good time to find your seat and get settled before the exam begins.

Here’s a reminder of the key dates:

Maths GCSE Resits

Paper 1: Wednesday 5th November

Paper 2: Friday 7th November

Paper 3 (Pearson Only): Monday 10th November

English GCSE Resits

Paper 1: Tuesday 4th November

Paper 2: Thursday 6th November

Make sure to check your exam timetable carefully and bring everything you need on the day - including pens, pencils, a calculator (for Maths), and your student ID.

Remember, these resits are your opportunity to improve your grades and take a big step towards your future goals - whether that’s progressing onto your next course, an apprenticeship, or into employment.

Stay Positive: You’ve been working hard, and these exams are just another opportunity to show what you’ve learnt. Believe in yourself!
