We offer comprehensive financial guidance to support you throughout your educational journey.

This includes expert help with Student Finance applications, advice on additional funding and bursaries, and access to a dedicated student hardship fund should you need extra financial support during your course.

Additional Learning Support

Our specialist Additional Learning Support team is available to provide tailored support if you need it. We recognise that everyone’s circumstances are different, which is why support is personalised to meet your individual needs.

From reasonable adjustments to one-to-one support, our team will work closely with you to help you make the most of your time at college and achieve your academic goals. If you think you may require additional support, we encourage you to contact us as early as possible so arrangements can be put in place ahead of your studies.

Careers Information, Advice and Guidance

Preparing for your next step is a key part of higher education. Our dedicated Careers Advisor, alongside external partners, can support you with career planning, skills development, work placement opportunities, CV support, and building professional networks to help you progress with confidence.

Mental Health and Wellbeing Support

Your wellbeing is a priority at Hull College. We offer a range of mental health and wellbeing services designed to support you throughout your studies. This includes access to our in-house Counselling Service, providing a safe, confidential space to talk through challenges and seek support when you need it.

We’re here to help you thrive, both academically and personally.

Childcare

We’re proud to support students who are parents. The Queen’s Gardens Childcare Centre is available to Hull College students and provides care for children aged three months to five years.

The centre is open Monday to Friday, 8am – 5:45pm (term time only). To enquire about securing a place for your child, please contact the Childcare Centre directly on 01482 223646.
