What they said
Criminology & Psychology Student of the Year award winner, Amy Stonham said: “Graduation was one of the proudest moments of my life. Looking back at the hard work and everything I’ve overcome, it felt incredible to celebrate it all. Studying at Hull College has shaped who I am today. The support, encouragement and opportunities have been life changing. I’m so excited for what comes next.”
Performing Arts Student of the Year award winner, Eleanor Spamer added: “I’ve always loved being on stage, and studying at Hull College helped me rediscover just how much performing means to me. I originally planned to become a dance teacher, but the course opened up opportunities to build my confidence in singing and acting too. Having the chance to explore musical theatre completely changed my direction. Now I’m aiming for the West End – something I never would have believed possible before.
“I haven’t just developed as a performer during my time at Hull College – I’ve grown massively as a person too. I’ve learned life skills, gained independence and become a far more confident young woman. I feel fully ready to step into the industry because of everything I’ve learned here. The environment here encourages you to explore who you are and what you want to be. I’m leaving with a clearer sense of direction and a real belief in myself.”
