what is enrolment?

Enrolment is the final step in confirming your place with us. It’s your way of saying: “Yes, I’m in!” It’s also how we check and confirm your details, make sure you’re on the right course, and get everything sorted before you officially start with us in September.

The process has two stages: completing an online form and attending an in-person appointment at our Queen’s Gardens campus. Your place is only confirmed once both steps are complete, so it’s important to do them both.

This year, enrolment runs from Tuesday 19th August to Friday 29th August. Keep a close eye on your emails, as all your enrolment information will be sent to the address we have on file.

Online Enrolment

First, we’ll send you a link to your personal online Enrolment form. Here you’ll check your details, confirm your course, and upload any required documents. It only takes about 10 minutes, so complete it as soon as you can. (And don’t forget to check your spam folder just in case!)

Your In-Person Appointment

Once your form is done, it’s time to come into college. Appointments will take place in the Horncastle Building between 19th and 29th August, and you’ll be given a specific date and time. If you can’t make it, please contact us on 01482 329943 or at admissions@hull-college.ac.uk so we can rearrange.

What you need to bring with you to enrol

  • Proof of ID (passport, birth certificate, or driving licence)
  • Your exam results (GCSEs or equivalent)
  • Any other documents requested in your invite email
  • And of course… a smile!

Studying at college has completely prepared me for taking the next step into university. I’ve developed in so many different ways – not just academically, but also in confidence, independence, and how I manage my own learning. The overall experience has helped me understand what I’m capable of and given me the skills I need to succeed beyond college. That growth and preparation is exactly what college should be about!
