You’ll take part in a wide range of physical activities while developing coaching and instructional skills. You’ll analyse data, fitness test clients, and design training programmes to improve health and performance. By integrating sports theory with practical application, you’ll gain insight into specialist career pathways or build the academic foundation needed for higher education.

You’ll also study areas such as sports injuries, sports massage, and psychology in sport, ensuring a broad understanding of the sector and strong progression opportunities. Additional qualifications are available to enhance your employability, including Emergency First Aid at Work and a Level 3 Sports Leaders UK qualification in Sports Leadership.

4 x GCSEs at grade 4(C) or above, including Maths and English
