Professional Cookery for Adults is ideal if you’re looking to work in a fast-paced and exciting industry. This study programme gives you the practical skills, confidence and industry understanding needed to begin a career within catering, either locally or nationally.

You’ll take part in an intensive, hands-on course taught by experienced industry professionals who will support your development throughout. You’ll learn how to prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, including working with meat, offal, fish, sauces and pastry. Your practical skills will be developed in realistic working environments, giving you the opportunity to showcase your talent in the college’s award-winning restaurant, Bilocca.

Adult learners on the course also have opportunities to take part in local and national competitions, achieving excellent results and gaining valuable industry recognition.
