Course Overview
The Hull College MA Creative Practice course is a flexible, practice-led programme designed for creative graduates, returning adult learners, and professionals aiming to develop a specialist body of work, extend their creative skills, and engage with contemporary and traditional art, design, and media practices.

• Critical Research (20 Credits)
You’ll explore research methods and critical thinking approaches that support creative practice. This module helps you develop analytical skills, contextual awareness and reflective research strategies, allowing you to investigate ideas, influences and themes that inform your personal creative direction.
• Exploration and Development (40 Credits)
This practice-led module encourages experimentation and creative risk-taking as you develop your individual voice. You’ll explore materials, processes and concepts within your specialist area while refining technical skills and building a body of exploratory work that informs your future projects.
• Dissemination Frameworks (40 Credits)
You’ll examine how creative work is shared with audiences across different platforms and professional contexts. This includes exhibition planning, digital presentation, curatorial approaches and understanding professional frameworks that support the promotion and communication of creative practice.
