Course Overview

The Level 3 Diploma in Esports is designed for learners who have already completed a Level 2 qualification and are ready to take their skills and knowledge to the next level. Building on prior learning, the course offers a deeper and more detailed insight into the fast-growing esports industry, combining advanced practical work with a stronger understanding of how the sector operates professionally.

Students develop their knowledge of competitive games, team and player structures, and tournament environments, while gaining hands-on experience in live streaming, broadcasting, and content creation.

Learners also plan, promote, and deliver esports events, and explore how esports organisations and enterprises are developed and managed.

Assessment is practical and varied, using coursework, observations, and portfolio work to allow students to demonstrate their skills across a range of units. The programme balances creative, technical, and organisational skills, preparing learners for progression to higher education, higher-level apprenticeships, or employment within esports, digital media, events, and related industries.

Entry Requirements:

4 x GCSEs at grade 4(C) or above, including Maths and English
