Course Overview

The Level 2 Diploma in Esports is designed as a first step into the dynamic and expanding esports industry. This course equips students with essential skills and knowledge about the esports business, including understanding professional games, team structures, and tournament play. Learners also explore practical aspects such as live streaming, broadcasting techniques, planning and promoting esports events, and launching esports-related enterprises.

Assessment is practical and varied, based on coursework, observations, and portfolio work, allowing students to demonstrate competence across the range of units studied. The programme emphasises both the creative and organisational sides of esports, blending technical skills with industry awareness.

Entry Requirements:

4 x GCSEs at grade 3(D) or above, or Level 1 Subject Qualification
