Others choose to move directly into university, using the UCAS points gained from the Extended Diploma to pursue engineering degrees in areas such as mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or aerospace engineering. You may also progress into a Higher Technical Apprenticeship, allowing you to earn while developing specialist skills in a real engineering environment.
