Course Overview

This apprenticeship prepares you to become a Content Creator, producing engaging written, visual and audio content for a wide range of organisations.

Working across digital platforms, social media, print or broadcast, you’ll learn how to research, plan and create content that aligns with brand objectives and audience needs. Content Creators work to a brief, tailoring messaging to maximise engagement while meeting deadlines and budgets.

You’ll collaborate with marketing teams, clients and stakeholders, developing creativity alongside professional awareness of legal, ethical and regulatory considerations. By the end of the programme, you’ll be confident delivering high-quality content across multiple channels.

Maths and English at 4(C) or above

Course Structure

You will spend one day per week at Hull College, developing your creative, technical and strategic content creation skills.

The remaining four days per week will be spent with your employer, producing real content and contributing to live marketing and communication campaigns.

Progression & Next Steps

On completion, you can progress into continued employment with your current employer or further opportunities within marketing, digital media, communications and creative industries.
