Following a full enhanced skills inspection in October 2023, Hull College was officially rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

Inspectors also recognised our exceptional contribution to meeting skills needs, awarding us the highest possible grade of ‘Strong’ – a mark of distinction held by only a small number of colleges nationwide.

Key Highlights from the Report

  • Personal Development and Adult Learning Programmes were judged ‘Outstanding’.
  • Education Programmes for Young People, Apprenticeships, Provision for Learners with High Needs, Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, and Leadership and Management were all rated ‘Good’.
  • Inspectors praised our strong partnerships with employers, innovative teaching, and our culture of inclusion and ambition.
