The course covers a range of units including; Identifying, stacking and storing resources and different types and sizes of materials; Efficient working practices and safe use of working platforms up to 2 metres; Plain internal plastering to solid and applied backgrounds; Installing dry linings (plasterboard) to timber backgrounds using mechanical fixings; Installing direct bond dry linings; Fixing metal trims; Producing external solid render finishes; Laying sand and cement floor screeds, level and to falls; Manufacture, installation and repair of basic fibrous plaster components and Health and Safety tests.
