Lee Stafford is well known for his appearances on shows such as This Morning, and for his successful product range, but in September, his presence will become a permanent feature in Hull College.

Having presented at colleges over many years, Lee had a personal vision to create the best training opportunities in the world for would-be hairdressers, and Hull College are proud to work alongside Lee, by announcing the Lee Stafford Academy.

Partnering with Lee Stafford Education, the academy will ensure our Hairdressing students become the most employable in the region by benefiting from the mentorship and shared passion of a highly successful stylist.

Not only will the academy offer excellent training, our staff and students will be supported with both a full suite of teaching (recipe) books and videos covering the Level 2 and Level 3 curriculums, as well as continuous support of a dedicated team of staff throughout the year.

Talking about the new academy, Lee Stafford said, “I‘m absolutely delighted to be partnering with Hull College and really look forward to working with local employers and students. It’s taken 6 years to develop the 24 different cutting, styling and colouring recipes that we coach at Lee Stafford Education and I can’t wait to start sharing those techniques with the college students.”

Head of the School of Hair & Beauty, Nicola Alison said, “We are incredibly proud to announce the new Lee Stafford Academy. We have been working alongside Lee and the months of discussions have paid off.”

“The academy really shows the high standard of our salon, students and staff, and proves that the college has an incredibly bright future going forward.”

“We are confident that the partnership will breathe new life in to the college’s hair and beauty offer and will prove a big draw, so we are very honoured that Lee has decided to work with us here.”
