Hull College students have helped raise an impressive sum of money for a local charity using their metalwork skills..
Before Christmas 2017, students from the School of Engineering, Computing and Science designed and manufactured a batch of festive metal snowmen to help celebrate the season.
After the first image of the Jolly Snow-folk was shared around the college, news spread fast and they quickly began receiving orders.
It was agreed that they would sell the Snow-folk at £2.50 each, and all funds raised would be donated to a worthy, local charity.
After a busy Christmas of producing the Snow-folk to order, the students raised an impressive £567.50 for Nice 2B Nice, which will be split equally with Phoebe's Lodge, also part of Nice 2B Nice.
