8th February 2021
Hull College is excited to be taking part in National Apprenticeship Week 2021.
This year’s theme is 'Build the Future', calling for providers to come together and consider how apprenticeships can help individuals build the skills and knowledge needed for a rewarding career.
Apprenticeships offer unique and exciting opportunities for both individuals and employers. If you are an individual, an apprenticeship can set you on a career path with lots of future potential. Not only will you get hands-on experience in a real job, gaining valuable workplace skills and experience along the way, you’ll come away with a qualification that will enhance your career prospects as well. You’ll feel the rewards in your pocket too, by earning a salary.
From an employer’s perspective, recruiting an apprentice is an investment in the future of your business. It is a productive and cost-effective way to grow talent and develop a motivated, skilled and qualified workforce. Whatever your industry, it will allow you to develop your employee’s skills and knowledge in line with your business needs.
Throughout this week we will be taking to social media to highlight the impact that apprenticeships can have on individuals, communities and businesses, whilst also answering any questions you may have about getting involved in an apprenticeship yourself during a Live Q&A featuring our HCUK Training team on Facebook on Friday 12th February.
If you’re interested in an apprenticeship, HCUK Training works closely with local and national businesses to create opportunities to train and study towards accredited qualifications.
HCUK Training delivers quality employer-responsive training solutions to provide clear progression routes and tailored programmes to suit employer needs.
The quickest way into an apprenticeship is to apply for one of our current vacancies, which you can view here. Don’t worry if there isn’t one that’s right for you though, get in touch with the team on 0300 330 2010 to find out how they can help.
