18th April 2019

Over the next three months, Hull College Higher Education students will be showcasing their progression and achievements in a number of different shows.

From Musical Theatre to Art Exhibitions, this collection of creative shows marks the end of the academic year and are an accumulation of the hard work students have dedicated to their studies.

The Riverside Theatre will be hosting Dance and Musical Theatre productions and with a 200-seat capacity, there’s more than enough room for everyone. Alongside the hustle and bustle of the theatre, students have been busy in the state-of-the-art production suites and studios, using these innovative spaces to rehearse with the latest industry technologies.

Performance Arts are not the only subjects putting on a show, artistic degree courses including Fashion, Fine Art, Animation and Photography are set to exhibit work in two Hull city centre locations. Organising the shows enables students to gain an insight into being an industry professional, curating project work into a vibrant hub of creativity.

Coordinating end of year shows is a real team effort. Students from a number of degree level courses work together on set design, lighting, costume design and even marketing the shows through social media.

So why not show your support and come along to one (or more) of the shows!
