Film Hub North and BFI Network are bringing their regular short film event, Northern Exposure, to Hull!

In partnership with Hull Independent Cinema and Humber film, it will be a day of short films, lively discussions, networking and advice.

There will be something for everyone whether you're a filmmaker or are interested in watching some thought-provoking short films.

Programme

12.00pm-4.00pm: Surgery sessions for local filmmakers with the experts from BFI Network. Free of charge, book a time in advance by emailing Roxy McKennaat Film Hub North / BFI Network. Unfortunately, surgery sessions are now fully booked. You are still welcome to attend the Forum meeting or buy a ticket for the screening and subsequent networking session.

5.30pm: Humber Film Forum. Humber Film is a community of filmmakers and associated disciplines who aim to develop and encourage film making in the region. A chance for local filmmakers to get together and share ideas, advice, contacts and experience, and discuss new projects. Free of charge, just turn up.

7.00pm: NORTHERN EXPOSURE. An hour of short films from around the North, curated by Film Hub North. Tickets £2.50, open to all.

8.00pm onwards: Informal networking. An opportunity for conversations between BFI Network experts, HIC team members, local filmmakers and audiences.

If any tickets remain unsold they can be purchased on the door on the night of the screening, but we strongly advise buying in advance. Advance tickets must be purchased; we cannot reserve tickets.
