Congratulations to the team of Hospitality and Catering learners who study on our level 2/3 Culinary Skills and Patisserie courses at Hull College. They have been competing @HRC (formally Hotelympia the culinary Olympics within the UK) for 3 days, with competitions held in London at the Excel exhibition centre.

Hard work prior to the competition by the learners and dedicated training and coaching by Phil Dixon, Ian Snedden and Matthew Dominey enabled the learners to participate in a range of live and static classes over the 3 days.

The learners received the rewards that their hard work and dedication deserved and came home to Hull with 2 Gold medals, 14 Silver, 23 Bronze, 1 best in class, voted best overall college within the competition and were awarded the prestigious food hygiene award.
