Examining all aspects of teaching, learning and assessment, including designing and delivering lessons, Hull College will support you as you complete the 100 hours classroom teaching built into your course.

Bringing the theory to life with practical experience helps you to really understand what you can expect from your teaching career.

Applicants to the PGCE will need a degree, GCSEs in maths and English as well as relevant and some experience in teaching. If you want to as a professional teacher in the post 16 Lifelong Learning sector, this is the course for you.

A good relevant undergraduate degree or an equivalent qualification. Although we use UCAS points as a guide for students coming straight from school or college, for us, what you've achieved in the past isn't nearly as important as what we believe you can achieve in the future and we excel at providing the support that helps students succeed, regardless of their previous academic background
