You’ll learn a broad range of disciplines within the live and technical events sector including: lighting design and operation, stage set design and construction, live sound design and operation, sound theory and acoustics, electrical principles, equipment maintenance and repair.
Projects across the programme will be industry-facing and will offer live client briefs in order to enhance professional skills development. We will encourage students to network and gain a portfolio of professional work whilst studying at the college. Previous students have been extremely successful in gaining employment within the sector on completion and during our programmes and many employers see our courses as extremely reputable when seeking technical support for live events locally and nationally.

Hull College Group
64 UCAS points, IELTS Score: 6.5 Although we use UCAS points as a guide for students coming straight from school or college, for us, what you've achieved in the past isn't nearly as important as what we believe you can achieve in the future and we excel at providing the support that helps students succeed, regardless of their previous academic background
In addition: Applicants are not necessarily expected to have formal qualifications, for example you may have had appropriate work experience.
