The course is designed to provide students with further skills in counselling and communication. The course will develop and build on the skills acquired as part of the Level 1 Counselling course and will enable students to evaluate and develop their own work and practice.
Assessment comprises a portfolio of evidence including individual assignments and will cover the nature of skills practice, written pieces of evidence and tutor observation of skills.
Students will be required to have successfully completed an Introductory course in Counselling Skills or have the equivalent relevant experience.
