Overview
This Study Programme is designed for students aiming to develop advanced skills in plumbing and heating techniques.
The programme covers installation of plumbing and heating systems in simulated environments as well as the electrical circuits required to make them work.
You will also develop knowledge of fault finding - a key skill required in the industry.
The Employability Skills Passport will also help you develop the work-ready skills you need to succeed, as well as developing your maths and English.
You will need to have completed a level 2 in plumbing to progress onto this course. where successful completion could allow you to progress onto an apprenticeship and if gained through a Gas Safe employer, allows you to fast track to the second year of a Level 3 framework.

Mix of Exams and Coursework

Maths and English at 4(C) or above
In addition: PPE (safety boots,work trousers and college polo shirt)
